Veneers
A confident smile isn’t just about straight teeth.
We understand that the look, colour and texture of your teeth are all crucial elements of a beautiful smile. Staining, decay, wear facets, grinding or discolouration can all affect the look of your teeth. At Vivid Dental, we are glad to offer veneers as a solution for patients looking to enhance their smile.
Feeling self conscious about your smile is no way to live. We know how important a beautiful confident smile is, particularly on special occasions, milestones or significant moments. Often, patients come to us with their wedding approaching in a few months, hoping to perfect their smile for their big day.
Working with our patients to achieve a result that is perfectly customised to suit them is our passion.
Seeing the beautiful end result makes it all worthwhile.
Whether you have a big moment coming up, or you just want to smile more confidently day to day, we can help you achieve your ideal smile.
What Are Veneers?
A veneer is thin layers of durable porcelain that is made specifically for your tooth. They are completely customised to your mouth and can be designed to achieve your desired outcome.
The Process
Your natural tooth is prepared by being slightly filed, shaped and prepared for the fitting of the veneer. Impressions are then taken and sent to a laboratory to create your perfectly customised veneers. Temporary on-lays are fitted for you during the 2 week interim, while your final versions are created. Once the porcelain models are created, the temporary veneers are removed and the final product is fitted with a durable cement.
Are Veneers Right For Me?
If you are considering veneers, it’s best to book in a consultation with one of our friendly dentists to discuss the result you’d like to achieve and whether veneers are the best solution. If you have chipped teeth, gaps between your teeth, discolouration or are unhappy with the look and shape of your teeth, veneers may be the perfect option for you.
If you are simply concerned by the shade of your teeth, teeth whitening can achieve an excellent transformation of your smile before undergoing any cosmetic restorative treatment process.
Caring for Veneers
All teeth, whether they are natural or artificially enhanced or restored, require good oral hygiene. It’s therefore still very important to care for your teeth and gums before, during and after the veneers process. Neglecting your dental health can lead to complications down the track, so the first step to a healthy beautiful smile is always a great oral hygiene routine.
If you think veneers may be the right treatment option to enhance your smile, book in for a consultation with our expert dentists and discuss how we can help you achieve your smile goals.
