We are proud to have Five Dock’s only dental hygienist, Leanne Smith, who takes care of all our six monthly check-up and clean dental appointments. She is so experienced and diligent with thorough cleaning of teeth, and monitoring the health of your smile. Working Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, she has even more dental appointments available to you. 
Whenever you have your check up and clean with us, we will pencil in dental appointments for you when you are next due – whether this is in three months, four months or six months, depending on the health of your gums and your level of oral hygiene. If you do not floss and brush well every day, your dental appointments should be more regular. Gum disease such as gingivitis or periodontitis can eat away the bone structure supporting your tooth, so it’s crucial to maintain healthy gums at all times. Signs of gum disease include bleeding when brushing or flossing, puffy, red, inflamed gums, and bad breath.
We like to use the prebooked dental appointments system, meaning we have booked in advance and will SMS a reminder to you, closer to the date. It’s one less thing to worry about as the year goes on. It’s important to keep up with these regular dental appointments to ensure you don’t have bleeding gums, gum disease, inflammation, plaque, tartar or stained teeth.
We also tailor our dental appointments reminders according to what suits you best. If you spend hours at your office desk, constantly checking emails and Microsoft calendars, we will happily send you an email or program a reminder directly to your calendar. If you’re a social butterfly and are never without your mobile phone, we can send you a convenient SMS.
