Leanne is our Oral Health Therapist (Dually qualified Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist). Leanne has been in the dental profession for over 19 years and is passionate about preventive dentistry and patient care.
Leanne graduated from Newcastle University as a hygienist with distinction. She received the Deans Merit award and also an award for her outstanding commitment to the dental profession. Leanne then completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Dental Therapy and Adult Restorative Management for Oral Health which allows her to treat patients of all ages.
Leanne has since completed her PhD which focused on preventing dental caries in young Aboriginal children.
Leanne enjoys helping patients (young and old) feel comfortable during dental treatment and aims for all of her patients to have healthy teeth for life.
Outside of work Leanne is busy being a mum to her two small children and enjoys catching up with friends over coffee.
